Benefits of Membership

I don’t have a corner on truth; only God does. You are welcome to challenge what I write and what others say, with respect and evidence.

One paid membership includes:

• Comment on articles and take part in the discussion.
• Receive my periodic members-only newsletter by email.

Rules of Member Behavior

• Disagreements are allowed and encouraged (they sharpen thinking).
• Disagreements must be framed against claims made—the ideas.
• Disagreements may never be made against the person making the claim (ad hominem). You may not use terms such as fool, idiot, moron, or other deprecating language.
• Ad hominem attacks may result in termination of membership under the abuse provisions in the Terms and Conditions of Membership.
• Disagreements must be respectful. Show respect by explaining why you disagree.
• Support your position with evidence that supports your disagreement. No unsupported claims allowed.
• Unsupported claims may be hidden.

These rules keep the discussion lively and respectful. Please read them and the membership terms before joining.

Terms and Conditions of Membership

Membership renews annually on the anniversary date unless you cancel.

You may cancel future renewal at any time through Manage or cancel membership. Cancellation stops future renewal billing. Unless your payment is refunded or your membership is terminated for abuse, your paid member benefits continue through the end of the period you have paid for.

You may request a full refund within seven calendar days after your initial membership payment or any annual renewal payment. A full refund includes any sales tax charged. To request a refund, email Doug within that window. A refunded membership ends when the refund is processed. After seven calendar days, payments are nonrefundable except where required by law.

Watchman Clarion may remove comments and suspend or terminate member privileges for violations of the Rules of Member Behavior, including harassment, threats, spam, or other abusive conduct. Termination for abuse immediately ends commenting privileges and newsletter eligibility, and future renewal billing will be canceled. Prior payments are nonrefundable, including during the seven-day refund window, except where required by law.

$48.00 per year, plus sales tax where applicable

Sales tax, if applicable, is calculated at checkout based on your location.

I am not registered with the IRS as a 501(c)(3) organization, so the membership fee is a purchase, not a donation.
